Project 251

Your app, built in three weeks, for a price you know today.

I'm Brad Jones. I build iOS, Android and web apps on my own, which is why I can quote a number instead of an estimate. No discovery phase, no account manager, no six-month timeline.

Fixed quote

$2,500

One app. One price. Paid half up front, half on delivery.

What $2,500 actually buys

A working app, not a prototype

Signed, submitted to the App Store and Google Play, and running on real devices. Not a clickable mockup you still have to get built.

Your accounts, your code

The repository, the developer accounts and the keys are yours from the first commit. You can hand it to anyone afterwards, including someone who is not me.

One person, start to finish

The person who scopes it writes it. Nothing is handed to a junior, offshored, or lost between an account manager and a developer.

A fixed number

The price does not move because the work took longer than I thought. That risk is mine, and pricing it honestly is the job.

How three weeks goes

  1. Week 0

    Build audit

We spend $500 and a week deciding exactly what the app is. You get the scope, the screens and the number. If you walk away, you keep the document.

  2. Week 1

    It exists

Screens, navigation and data. You are opening it on your own phone by the end of the week, not looking at pictures of it.

  3. Week 2

    It works

Accounts, payments, notifications, whatever yours needs. This is the week the app becomes the thing you described.

  4. Week 3

    It ships

Store listing, screenshots, review submission, and the handover of every account and key.

Before you ask

What if my app is bigger than $2,500?

Then I tell you that in the audit week, before you have committed to the build. Larger scopes are quoted the same way: one number, agreed before work starts.

Why is this so much cheaper than the agencies?

There is one of me, I use AI tooling heavily, and I have a stack I have shipped with before. An agency quoting $40,000 is paying for salespeople, project managers and a floor of developers. You would be too.

What happens after it launches?

Apps need upkeep whether you plan for it or not: OS releases, store policy changes, expiring certificates. That is $149 a month, and you can stop any time.

What will you not build?

Anything where the hard part is scale rather than software. If you need a video streaming platform or something with a real machine learning problem in it, I will say so rather than take the money.

Tell me what you want built

Fifteen minutes on a call is usually enough for me to say whether it fits in three weeks and what it costs. If it doesn't fit, I'll tell you that too.
