251Design

One developer, and the reason that's the point.

I'm Brad Jones. I've been building software for a long time, and 251 Design is what I do now: write the app, ship it to the stores, and keep it running.

Why the price is what it is

An agency quoting $40,000 is paying salespeople, project managers and a floor of developers, and you are paying for all of them. I have a stack I have shipped with before and I use AI tooling heavily, so the same app costs me a fraction of the hours it used to. I would rather pass that on and do more of them than charge agency rates for solo work.

Why fixed price

An hourly quote moves the risk of a bad estimate onto you. Estimating is my job, not yours. If I get it wrong, that is mine to absorb, and the audit week exists so I get it wrong less often.

What I actually do all day

I run a WooCommerce parts store, an invoicing and CRM system I wrote, and an automation platform that manages all of it. I am not describing capabilities I read about. The apps on the work page are mine, in the App Store, built the way yours would be.

What I will tell you no about

Anything where the hard part is scale rather than software. Video streaming, real machine learning, anything that lives or dies on infrastructure. You want a team for that, and saying so costs me a sale and saves you a lot more.

What I build with

Mobile
React Native and Expo, one codebase for iOS and Android
Web
Laravel, Inertia and Vue
Data
MySQL, Postgres, SQLite, and whatever your existing system speaks
Delivery
App Store and Google Play submission, and the accounts handed to you

Based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Almost all of this work happens remotely, and I have never needed to be in the same room as a client to ship one.

Tell me what you want built

Fifteen minutes is usually enough for me to say whether it fits in three weeks and what it costs. If it doesn't fit, I'll tell you that too.
